The new 2D codes can be read using specially designed optical readers. Within this method you have an immediate recognition of coordinates and the code of the different test tubes inside the boxes, with no errors.
The different product lines marketed by Twin Helix (TrackMates, CryoBank , Bank It,Cryo.s etc.) include a wide range of polypropylene test tubes with volume between 90ul and 12ml and their closing systems for a correct archiving of the samples like serum, plasmas, cells, viruses, enzymes, proteins, vectors, oligo, nucleic acids or biopsies.
The most frequent applications are: short and long term storage, shipping and circulation of
samples, clinical trials, packaging.
The special optical readers connected to the user's PC allow rapid code decoding.
With two-dimensional tubes placed on the bottom of the test tubes, it is possible to decode a single tube at a time or a box of 96 tubes at the same time.
