HEP X KIT

Improved in vitro liver tissue models can potentially speed up the study of disease biology and accelerate drug screening. To this end, we have developed the HEP X Kit, which includes decellularized liver extracellular matrix (ECM), a component that serves as a bioactive scaffold, or superior microenvironment, for hepatocytes to facilitate cell-to-cell and cell-to-ECM interactions. The kit includes all components needed for easy preparation of the HEP X bioink, once mixed the bioink must be used within two hours. Follow the Neutralization and Bioprinting Protocol HEP X Kit for preparation and printing of HEP X Bioink.

Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and cooled print bed.

SPHEROID KIT – GELMA

The GelMA kit offers sterile CELLINK GelMA powder and a photoinitiator, enabling you to blend your own bioink. Dissolve the GelMA to the desired concentration, add your preferred photoinitiator and adjust the crosslinking time to finetune the stiffness of the material. The warm GelMA is liquid, allowing for an easy incorporation of spheroids.

Designed specifically for fast and easy spheroid formation combined with the benefits of physiologically relevant matrix embedding, the CELLINK Spheroid Kits strengthen your work with combining Kugelmeiers’s Sphericaplate 5D® and CELLINKS GellMA.

SPHEROID KIT – COLL 1

The Spheroid Kit Coll 1 includes a concentrated solution of type 1 collagen ready to be neutralized and printed, and 3 Sphericalplate 5D®. Collagen forms fibrous networks in the body, enhancing the structural integrity of the ECM while promoting cell adhesion, growth, biological signaling and tissue morphogenesis. CELLINK leverages collagen’s unique native physiological properties in an innovative formula to propel your research further.

Designed specifically for fast and easy spheroid formation combined with the benefits of physiologically relevant matrix embedding, the CELLINK Spheroid Kits strengthen your work with combining Kugelmeiers’s Sphericalplate 5D® and CELLINK’S Coll 1.

Also available as a bundle including a Consumables Kit C5 (Five clear cartridges, five Luer lock adaptors and 15 nozzles) as well as Collagen Buffer for easier neutralization. Note that the Collagen Buffer contains phenol red.

COLL 1 SOLUTION 10 MG/ML

As one of the most abundant proteins in the body, Collagen type I is commonly used in tissue engineering and 3D printing applications. Collagen forms fibrous networks that enhances the structural integrity of the extracellular matrix and promotes cell adhesion, growth and tissue morphogenesis. We offer collagen as a concentrated solution, enabling you to customize your biomaterial formulations and create hydrogels, supplemented cell culture coatings and 3D cell culture matrices. For easy neutralization use the Collagen Buffer. Neutralized Coll 1 solutions form stable constructs by thermal crosslinking.

Use in combination with FRESH LifeSupport powder for support bath printing. Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and a heated printbed. Not recommended for use with INKREDIBLE+ or INKREDIBLE.

COLMA SOLUTION 5 MG/ML

ColMA is a unique variation of type I collagen that has been modified with photoactive methacrylate groups, enabling it to be crosslinked in the presence of a photoinitiator. ColMA Solution contains methacrylated collagen dissolved in the acidic Reconstitution Agent A. This biomaterial is a great starting point for your 3D cell culture research, whether you are bioprinting droplets or 3D constructs. Neutralize the solution, with the help of Collagen Buffer, and you are ready to print scaffolds for tissue engineering and high-throughput screening.

Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and a heated printbed. Not recommended for use with INKREDIBLE+ or INKREDIBLE.

ALGINATE LYOPHILIZATE

This is a new Alginate product with higher viscosity than CELLINK’s previous Alginate Kit.

Alginate is an FDA approved naturally derived polysaccharide isolated from the cell walls of brown algae. Due to its versatility, alginate is one of the most used biomaterials for applications including drug delivery and engineering of tissues such as bone or cartilage. Dissolve Alginate Lyophilizate in our Reconstitution Agent M at your target concentration to prepare your unique bioink for 3D cell culture. Alginate hydrogels are crosslinkable with our sterile Crosslinking Agent containing calcium ions.

Applications

  • In a low viscosity formulation for use with the BIO X EMD Printhead to generate microspheres
  • Constituent of an extrudable bioink to enable ionic crosslinking capability
  • In combination with FRESH LifeSupport powder for support bath printing
  • After 3D cell culture you can easily harvest the cells for analysis using the Cell Collect A Bioink Lysis Reagent

Recommended for use with extrusion 3D bioprinters such as the BIO X and INKREDIBLE+

Pluronics Powder

The Pluronics Powder can be dissolved in water to create hydrogels with excellent printability. The prepared hydrogels can be used for 3D printing of vascularized tissues, channels in microfluidic devices, and supporting scaffolds for complicated tissue constructs. Pluronics gels are easy to remove ones printed by washing with cold PBS.

NANOFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE

Nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) is a natural material consisting of fibrils with high aspect ratio: (5–20 nm wide and several microns long). NFC demonstrates shear thinning behavior as a hydrogel, which makes it a perfect fit for bioinks with excellent bioprinting properties. Now you get a chance to use CELLINK Nanofibrillated Cellulose as a thickener additive to make your unique bioink.

COLLAGEN PREMIUM

CELLINK aims to leverage collagen’s unique native physiological properties in a new formulation that is reproducible and convenient to use. Our new Collagen PREMIUM biomaterial is derived from rat tail tendons, the primary source of type I collagen for biomedical research. It has been carefully processed and sterilized to avoid collagen structure degradation and prolong its shelf life to incredible one-year period. Via smooth thermal gelation at 37°C Collagen PREMIUM forms a homogeneous fiber network assembly that is stable over a desired cell culturing period.

Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and a heated printbed. Not recommended for use with INKREDIBLE+ or INKREDIBLE.

CELLINK GLUCOMANNAN

Glucomannan is a water-soluble polysaccharide that gels at ambient conditions and increases the viscosity of a liquid making it an effective thickener. It is already used as a component in our Chitoink, which is the first printable chitosan-based bioink on the market. Prepare your own hydrogel compositions with excellent printability using our new CELLINK Glucomannan thickener!

Compatible for blending of many of our biomaterials such as the GelMA Kit or the Alginate Kit.

GelMA Lyophilizate

GelMA is a freeze-dried product of porcine gelatin functionalized with methacrylate groups. It is one of the most popular biomaterials in tissue engineering, used in a variety of applications. GelMA is easy to dissolve in our Reconstitution Agent P at your target concentration to prepare your unique bioink. Addition of a photoinitiator is vital to make your bioink photocrosslinkable and thereby stable in cell culture applications.

Applications

Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and a cooled print bed, or INKREDIBLE+ with a heated printhead. Not recommended for use with INKREDIBLE.
