GelXG

GelXG is an enhanced formulation of the GelMA bioink that contains with xanthan gum with a widened printability window. GelXG enables an environment with properties that mimic those in mammalian cells, and offers improved printability and stability. Crosslink by photocuring.

BIO CONDUCTINK

Bio Conductink is an advanced bioink derived from our GelMA SERIES of bioinks. This formulation is electrically conductive intended for use in muscular contraction and neural tissue models. Contains LAP as photoinitiator at 0.25 percent.

The printability of this bioink is temperature sensitive and therefore is recommended for use with the BIO X Temperature-controlled Printhead or the INKREDIBLE+ bioprinter system. Not recommended for use with the INKREDIBLE system

CELLINK A-RGD

CELLINK A-RGD bioink offers the same 3D environment as CELLINK A bioink with an additional RGD biofunctionalization to improve cell attachment. CELLINK A-RGD bioink can be mixed with a high concentration of cells with our CELLMIXER for a one-step bioprinting process. It crosslinks easily with our ionic crosslinking solution. You can use any of our sacrificial bioinks, like CELLINK START and CELLINK PLURONICS to create porous structures.

Uses

  • With the BIO X EMD Printhead to generate microspheres
  • In combination with FRESH LifeSupport powder for support bath printing
  • Use as a throughput 3D model (deposited as droplets) with the Syringe Printhead

Cellink Bone

Based on the CELLINK Bioink, CELLINK BONE bioink offers the same printability and natural 3D environment as CELLINK Bioink with added biofunctionalization. This bioink is composed of tricalcium phosphate osteoconductive particles to enhance bone tissue engineering applications. Use our CELLMIXER to mix CELLINK BONE with a high concentration of cells and enable a one-step bioprinting process. After bioprinting, CELLINK BONE crosslinks easily with the included ionic crosslinking agent.

Also available with a GelXA base.

Recommended to use the CELLMIXER for blending in cells.

Uses

  • Use as a 3D model (example use here) with the BIO X Temperature Controlled or Syringe Printhead
  • Printed in conjugation with the BIO X Thermoplastic Printhead to complement a thermoplastic scaffold such as PCL

CELLINK Fibrin

Based on CELLINK Bioink, CELLINK FIBRIN contains fibrinogen to ensure consistent printability during the fabrication process. CELLINK FIBRIN includes an enhanced crosslinking solution that uses thrombin and an ionic binding agent to develop a compound network with unparalleled stability. After crosslinking, CELLINK FIBRIN contains in situ fibrin and fibrinogen to provide a physiologically relevant wound-healing environment. Fibrin is a critical protein that appears during tissue healing because of its role in blood clotting.

Also available with a GelXA base.

Uses

  • Use as a throughput 3D model (deposited as droplets) with the BIO X Temperature Controlled or Syringe Printhead
  • Fabricate 3D constructs for tissue applications (example use here)

Based on CELLINK Bioink, CELLINK RGD bioink provides excellent printability properties and a natural cellular environment with added RGD biofunctionalization to improve cell attachment. Use our CELLMIXER to mix CELLINK RGD with a high concentration of cells and enable a one-step bioprinting process. After bioprinting, CELLINK RGD crosslinks easily with the included ionic solution.

Cellink Skin

CELLINK SKIN has fibrinogen to recreate the natural wound-healing environment found in skin tissue. It is optimized for culturing fibroblasts and keratinocytes to fabricate skin constructs. CELLINK SKIN comes with an enhanced thrombin-containing crosslinking solution to develop a compound network with unparalleled stability. After crosslinking with thrombin, CELLINK SKIN’s in situ fibrin and fibrinogen provides an environment that mimics the natural wound-healing process.

GelMA FIBRIN

GelMA FIBRIN bioink is designed to provide relevant biological and mechanical signals for endothelial cells which are responsible for the formation of blood vessels. To make it possible, we added endothelial tissue-specific functionality to GelMA. With the help of fibrinogen, a glycoprotein that can be enzymatically converted to fibrin, we aim to mediate spreading of endothelial cells and proliferation of fibroblasts to mimic physiological tissue vascularization process within bioprinted GelMA constructs.

Recommended for use with BIO X temperature-controlled printhead and cooled printbed, or for use with INKREDIBLE+ and heated printhead. Not recommended for use with INKREDIBLE.

GelXA BONE

GelXA BONE is an enhanced formulation of the GelXA bioink intended for targeted cell differentiation for bone applications whether as a standalone 3D construct or in conjugation with a thermoplastic scaffold. GelXA BONE offers dual-crosslinking capabilities through photocuring and treatment with ionic crosslinking agent.

Also available with a CELLINK base.

GELXA CARTILAGE

GelXA CARTILAGE is designed to actively help chondrocytes to create and maintain cartilage tissue. It retains prolific cytocompatibility of gelatin and at the same time enables bioprinting at ambient conditions and provides mechanical versatility of crosslinking. The last feature makes it possible to adjust the stiffness of cell microenvironment to resemble harder tissue models such as cartilage. With the addition of cartilage-specific components such as hyaluronan and laminin 521, we are also able to regulate the biological microenvironment native for cartilage tissue.
