The kit comes with bioinks that accommodate multiple cell types including hepatocytes, stellate cells, Kupffer cells and endothelial cells, giving you the ability to tailor each model to your needs. Once your model is generated, the kit’s antibodies enable you to directly analyze cells using key markers of liver functionality. Bioprinted liver tissue models organize cells spatially within a niche environment, providing the physiological mimicry necessary to enable the liver cells’ natural metabolism.
